          flurries emerged to  flutter about the air,  surrounding  only
          her.   it  was  simply  a meticulously contained piece of the
          blizzard  surging within her. when alone, she fell victim  to
          a  wandering mind & in the silence, her thoughts were her
          only  company.   for  fear  of  what  the dwarfish town crier
          would announce  for the angry mob that  followed  him  to
          gather arms,  the Queen remained at  the  docks,  seated
          on   a    bench,  line  of  sight  fixated  on  the  dark  water. 

          & at the echo of footsteps, a hand simply rose to halt them.
